研究领域

1. 各种DNA结构的围观力学,转变和功能

DNA能够形成多种结构实现多种重要功能。我们实验室致力于在单DNA水平上理解各种重要DNA结构的稳定性,相互转换,以及和蛋白质的相互作用。

2. 细胞骨架蛋白的微观力学以及它们在细胞力学感应中的功能

机械力近来被证实为一种非常重要的生理因素,调节各种重要的生物过程。一个重要的基本假说是存在一系列力学感应蛋白。它们通过力导致的构象变换调节于其它细胞信号蛋白的相互作用把力学信号转化为细胞生化反应,实现力学感应功能。 在单个蛋白水平上,我们致力于理解这些蛋白的力学构象变化以及相应的于其它蛋白的相互作用的变化。

3. 细菌DNA结合蛋白的DNA折叠于基因调控功能

细菌的DNA被大约12种大量存在的DNA结合蛋白(NAPs)紧密折叠成为细菌染色体。这些NAPs也在全局上影响细菌基因表达过程。我们致力于研究这些蛋白质于单个DNA的相互作用,籍此理解它们在细菌DNA折叠于基因调控过程中的分子机制。

4. 单链DNA(ssDNA)的结合蛋白及功能

单链DNA结合蛋白在DNA复制以及DNA破损修复过程起着重要作用。在单个ssDNA水平上,我们致力于研究这些蛋白与ssDNA结合的特性与过程,籍此理解它们在DNA复制与破损修复过程中的作用机制。
