2005年至今新加坡国立大学电子与计算机工程系助理教授(终身教职系统,博士生导师),并兼任新加坡科技研究局资讯通信研究院高级研究员

2005年9月至12月在 NEC 美国研究所任访问研究员

2007年5月至7月任澳大利亚墨尔本大学访问教授

2009年7月至月任香港理工大访问教授

IEEE国际光电学会会员,美国光学协会会员

研究领域主要包括集成光电器件,光连接,光纤器件与子系统,光纤传感,高速光纤通讯系统与网络。
