Programme Overview

Suzhou, winner of the 2014 Lee Kuan Yew World City Prize, is not only a city with incredible historical and cultural attractions but home to many aspiring entrepreneurs and renowned international enterprises.

As a leading innovative research institute set up in Suzhou China by the National University of Singapore, National University Suzhou Research Institute (NUSRI) focuses on cutting-edge research and educational initiatives covering economics development and public administration in China.

NUSRI presents to Japanese business leaders a 5-day leadership programme " Insights into China's Culture, Economics and Politics for Japanese Biz Leaders " in November 2018. This Programme introduces to you the modern business environment of China and foundational knowledge of various operational strategies and framework of doing business in China. Participants will thus gain familiarity with the business and entrepreneurial process in China through a series of lectures and onsite visits, and eventually move towards innovative leaders of tomorrow.

What would companies face in a competitive environment of the emerging economy of China? What do China's culture and political policies affect ways of doing business in China? What is the new trend of China's economic development in the next phase? How does Japanese enterprises in China gain success? ... You will find answers after this 5-day leadership programme through direct interactions with the enterprise owners, industrial leaders, Professors from leading China universities, and senior government administrators.
